Acceptance of Terms
By inviting Warden to your Discord server, using its commands, or accessing this website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, remove Warden from your server and stop using the website.
Service Description
Warden is a Discord bot that provides structured punishment management, private staff tags, moderation timelines, and moderator shift tracking. Features are described on the Features page and are subject to change.
User Responsibilities
- Use Warden in accordance with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
- Do not use Warden to harass, discriminate against, or target individuals or groups unlawfully.
- Do not attempt to bypass permission checks, exploit the bot, or interfere with its operation.
Server Owner Responsibilities
- Configure whitelist roles, toproles, and log channels appropriately for your team.
- Ensure the Warden role has the required permissions and hierarchy position.
- Communicate your moderation policies clearly to your members.
- Manage your staff's access and revoke it when appropriate.
Abuse & Misuse
Warden reserves the right to blacklist any server or user found abusing the service — including but not limited to raid facilitation, staffing bots to mass-punish innocent users, or attempting to overload the bot with malicious traffic.
Rate Limits
To ensure fairness and stability, Warden may impose rate limits on command usage. Rate-limited actions return a temporary error and can be retried shortly afterward.
Availability Disclaimer
Warden is provided on an "as available" basis. Discord API outages, hosting incidents, and scheduled maintenance may cause temporary unavailability. Live status is published on the Status page.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Warden team is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the bot or website — including loss of data, loss of profits, or moderation outcomes.
Account & Server Suspension
Warden may suspend service to a server or user at any time for violation of these Terms, Discord's Terms of Service, or applicable law.
Termination
You may terminate your use of Warden at any time by removing the bot from your server. The Warden team may terminate service to any user or guild at its discretion.
Intellectual Property
Warden's name, logo, source code, and website are the intellectual property of the Warden team. You may not use them to imply endorsement or misrepresent your project as official Warden work.
Updates to Terms
These Terms may change over time. Material changes will be announced in the HQ Server. Continued use of Warden after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
